Andrea Campbell is the author of ten traditionally published nonfiction books on a variety of topics including forensic science, criminal law, primatology, and entertaining using interactive games, among others. Her latest book is the 2nd edition of Legal Ease: A Guide to Criminal Law, Evidence and Procedure, which has just been updated and fashioned into a college law textbook. Andrea is a member of several professional organizations and stays current with book business. Her classes always offer students much more than they thought they’d get. One of her students recently got a “very good deal,” and, according to Publisher’s Lunch, a $100,000-plus book contract. Rachel Carrington is a multi-published author of over twenty-five fantasy novels, some of which are published by Ellora’s Cave, Red Sage Publishing, and Pocket Books as well as romantic suspense and historical romances. Her specialty is wizards and witches, though, she doesn’t mind writing about gods and goddesses or celestial spirits, either. A former career paralegal, she has taught two previous classes at Suite 101 and currently teaches workshops for editors and authors on various subjects related to the writing/publishing industry. She has also written several articles for various publications such as Absolute Write, Writer’s Weekly, Funds for Writers, and Writing for Dollars. Currently the editor-in-chief of Vintage Romance Publishing, a publisher devoted to the exploration of history in romance, Rachel is also an accomplished speaker and frequent judge for RWA chapter contests. Writer: A Totally Unconventional Guide to Freelance Writing Success. George Ann Gregory has a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics. She is a lifelong educator who has developed language and literacy with learners aged preschool through adult. She
has worked with a variety of ethnic and linguistics groups, including
Amerindian, Southeast Asian, Latin American, Middle-Eastern, European, African
American, Hispanic American, and Anglo-American. Her research includes grammatical analysis of compositions and teaching methods that work. Her publications include research articles, essays, short stories, poetry, and children’s stories. Dr. Gregory is the author of the best-selling Basic Grammar Dictionary for Anyone and American English Punctuation for Anyone. Former actress and director Christina Hamlett is an award-winning author and script coverage consultant whose credits to date include 25 books, 120 plays and musicals, four optioned feature films, and columns/interviews that appear in publications throughout the world.
Christina Katz Karen King has been a freelance writer for more
than 20 years, with more than 100 children’s books published. Her published titles include

Chase On Planet Zog (Walker), Cosmic Whizz Kid (Macdonald), The Gold Badge (HarperCollins),
and Christmas Fun (Scholastic). She
has written picture books, storybooks, activity books, joke and puzzle books, and
is often commissioned to write about licensed characters such as Winnie
the Pooh and Rosie and Jim. In addition, she writes short stories for women’s magazines and is currently working on a TV script. She teaches writing both online and in college settings. Jennifer is the author or co-author of more than 25 published non-fiction books. She has written for small presses (Wish Publishing), medium-sized publishing companies (McGraw-Hill) and huge media conglomerates (Penguin Putnam). She has written everything from how-to to reference to self help. She's helped many writers break into publishing-- and her e-course can help you do the same. Sandra Miller-Louden has been a professional greeting card writer since 1986. She won the industry's highest writing award-- a Louie-- in 1991 and was nominated again in 1992. Her greeting card work was featured on "Live! With Regis And Kathie Lee!" and she has worked with celebrities such as Stefanie Powers and Bernie Kosar for their card lines. Sandra has been interviewed on greeting card writing in such places as Talk Magazine, Christian Science Monitor, Staples.com, International Radio's Voice of America and Attaché (US Airway's in-flight magazine). Sandra is the author of two books and her website, www.greetingcardwriting.com, is the only site totally dedicated to the subject of writing greeting cards. Glenys O'Connell has been teaching creative writing at the adult education level for more than five years, and is proud that a number of her students have gone on to see their work published. She started her writing career as a journalist, and learned early that telling an editor you couldn't write the front page lead because you were waiting for inspiration was to risk an invitation for yourself (and your Muse!) to join the lineup at the local unemployment office. She's had literally thousands of articles published, and her first full-length romantic suspense novel was published in 2000. She has also written a number of children's novels, interactive CD's, and nonfiction books. She has had two plays produced, one of which won awards in the All-Ireland One Act Plays Festival 2003. She has written in many areas of adult nonfiction, from hypnotherapy scripts to travel articles, and is currently contracted to write a travel and culture book. Also in the works are a murder mystery novel, and a book on writing to be published later this year, titled Naked Writing: The No Frills Way To Write Your Novel! Glenys divides her time between suburban Ireland and remote and rural Eastern Ontario, Canada. George Sheldon has been writing and publishing
since he was 14 years old, and as he says now, "that was a really long time
ago." Now a lot older and grayer, George has published 14 books. He
has published more than 1,000 articles in such magazines as Byte, Small World,
Farm Journal, The Writer's Market, PC World, Profiles,
Cappers Weekly,
Pennsylvania Game News, and Country Music Times. He has served as a
newspaper correspondent for more than five years, and was a contract syndicated
writer. He self-syndicates travel articles, and often writes about
history, Americana, food, and any other topic that interests him. Sunnye Tiedemann is a teacher/author/critic who has taught English composition and creative writing for more than ten years online and in college and community education programs. She's an adventurous cook who published a family cookbook, Dining in with the Fultons, 1895 - 1995. Her recipes have appeared in local newspapers as well as in Southern Living and Taste of Home magazines. The cookbook was featured in Southern Living's November 1997 issue. Tiedemann, who also writes fiction, has published hundreds of stories (including a short mystery in a culinary setting) as well as articles on cooking, reading, books and authors, writing, personalities, the environment, and the arts in online, local, regional, and national publications. Van Nostran’s award-winning corporate communication career has spanned
two major trends: growth and maturation of corporate video in the 70s
and 80s, followed by the explosive adoption of digital interactive media
in the 90s. Currently he is an independent media writer serving Fortune 500 clients such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Pharmacia, DaimlerChrysler, Michelin, National City Corporation, and others. Elsie Walker is a freelance writer with more than
1,000 published articles to her credit. Her professional background includes
working as a technical writer for Prudential Healthcare, ADP, and Honeywell (the
latter as a consultant). Her magazine credits include articles in Succeed (continuing education), Hope (general interest), College Bound (education), Byline (writer’s trade magazine), Fiddler Magazine (special interest), The Quiet Hour (religious devotional), Sussex County Magazine (travel), and many more. In the past few years, she has moved on to doing mostly newspaper work, first for the Recorder Publishing chain and then for Gannett.
